A prime corner site was purchased on the main road connecting the M2 with the M1. A brand new main branch for the area was erected which consists of basement parking, a main banking floor and an office floor above. The building was constructed to create an impressive branch for Standard Bank. The parking area is secured with a palisade fence which is a major improvement from the previous Standard Bank which was situated in a street with no customer parking. The bank consolidated three branches into this building which caters mainly for the WITS Technikon students. The term of lease is 10 years.
